The AACAP Mentorship Grants for Medical Students provides the opportunity for medical students to attend the 2025 AACAP Annual Meeting, October 20-25, 2025 in Chicago, IL , and receive an introduction into the field of child and adolescent psychiatry through AACAP's Annual Meeting mentorship events. Applicants must be enrolled in a medical school in the United States beginning July 2025 and at the time of the AACAP Annual Meeting in October 2025. Participants must be in good standing at their medical school. Participants must attend all AACAP Annual Meeting events specified by AACAP. Medical students must be AACAP members or pending at the time of their application to be considered. Applicants must submit a letter of support from a faculty member or mentor. The letter should indicate how long the faculty member or mentor has known the applicant and in what capacity. In describing the candidate, it would be helpful for the letter to address the applicant's training, qualifications, accomplishments, interest in the child and adolescent psychiatry specialty, motivation for this award, and the potential benefits of the candidate attending the Annual Meeting, as appropriate. In addition, a letter of good standing from the applicant's medical school must be sent directly to AACAP. The Thomas M. Stetson Scholarship is given in recognition of the life-long contributions by Mr. Stetson to solve water resource conflicts and develop sustainable water management methods in the Western United States. Applicants must be a high school senior intending to pursue a career in a ground water-related field. The college or university selected for study must offer appropriate courses. The applicants must either have completed a science or environmental project at high school which directly involved ground water resources or, have had vacation or out of school work experience that is related to the environment and natural resources. Kinetix understands that the demand for skilled professionals in Information Technology (IT) and Computer Sciences in Michigan has never been higher. However, pursuing a degree in IT often comes with financial challenges that can hinder the dreams of many aspiring students. Kinetix's "The Future of IT" Scholarship Program aims to assist the next generation of IT and Computer Science professionals. Applicants must be enrolled in an information technology or computer science program. The application process for the scholarship is simple. Take a photo of yourself (or selfie), include the hashtags #kinetixITscholarships and #FutureIT, then post it to one of your social media outlets: Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter). The Esther Schlundt Memorial Scholarship Fund, named in honor of an outstanding reference librarian at Purdue University, provides scholarship funding for one or more applicants entering or currently enrolled in an ALA-accredited graduate degree program in library and information science or seeking a Library Technical Assistant Associate Degree (until Ivy Tech phases out) or enrolled in courses in an approved public library certification program. Public library certification candidates must submit documentation of enrollment in an approved public library certification program. The applicant's program of study must meet the current criteria as required by the Indiana Professional Standards Board or, if for a school library, Indiana Department of Education licensing. All scholarship recipients are chosen based on their interest in librarianship as a profession, their potential in the library field, academic record and references. Each must accept employment in an Indiana library within one year after completing his or her library education and must continue to work in an Indiana library for at least one year after accepting employment. If a recipient does not comply with these conditions, the scholarship must be repaid as a loan. Two letters of recommendation are required. At least one recommendation must be from a librarian. All letters of recommendation should be of a professional nature. References from current or previous employers, library trustees, current or previous teachers or professors, or others who comment on your potential as a library professional are acceptable. All students who apply for financial aid will be reviewed for awards offered through the College Foundation based on academic merit as well as financial need. Students interested in receiving financial assistance, except for graduate assistantships, graduate tuition scholarships, graduate fellowships, and merit-based scholarships, must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
