Don Brockett Memorial Scholarship Fund

Description

The Don Brockett Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarship benefits to students of the performing and theatrical arts at eligible universities. Applicants may be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current undergraduate enrolled or planning to enroll at eligible universities in Pennsylvania. Applicants must have a GPA between 2.5 and 3.5. Preference will be given to applicants who have a special talent or interest in the performing and theatrical arts. Applicants must also be a good student but not in the top 10 percent academically. They must be involved in extracurricular and/or other activities outside of school which reflect an ordinary (typical) student who shows extraordinary self-discipline and motivation to goals larger than self. Awards are not renewable, but applicants may reapply each year they meet the eligibility criteria. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Pittsburgh Foundation for more information.
