Description

The Eleanor B. and Henry H. Stroud, M.D. Memorial Scholarship provides a one-time award of $5,000 to Delaware residents who are enrolling or currently enrolled in an accredited medical school. Selection is based on financial need, academic promise, a recommendation from an academic or professional reference, and a short essay. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, ethics, and compassion in the medical field, with special consideration given to those showing entrepreneurial and innovative approaches to medicine. Recipients may reapply annually for up to four years under the same criteria.
