Eleanor B. and Henry H. Stroud, M.D. Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $5000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Eleanor B. and Henry H. Stroud, M.D. Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to students enrolling or enrolled in an accredited school of medicine. Awards will be based on the applicant's demonstrated commitment to pursuing the highest standards of excellence, ethics and compassion in the medical profession, as well as their academic promise and financial need. Special consideration will be given to applicants demonstrating an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to medicine. A recommendation by a teacher, academic advisor, or other appropriate party is required. Recipients are eligible to reapply in successive years for a maximum of four annual awards.
