FCCLA Texas Farm Bureau Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers one award in the amount of $5000. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.Description
The FCCLA Texas Farm Bureau Scholarship will be awarded to a member who has been an outstanding Region or State FCCLA Officer. This scholarship will be awarded in one disbursement to the college or university to which the recipient attends. To be eligible, applicants must be a citizen of the United States and/or be born in the United States, and a resident of the State of Texas. They must be graduating seniors ranked in the upper quarter of their graduating class or have an overall high school grade average of 85 (3.0) or higher at the completion of the first grading period of their senior year. This ranking is to be verified as part of the official transcript or by an accompanying certification from an appropriate school official. The applicant must enroll or plan to enroll in an accredited college or university within the confines of the State of Texas and major in any area of Family and Consumer Science. Applicants must submit their transcript of grades showing academic average and grading scale through four years of high school, two letters of recommendation, certification of FCCLA membership, and two copies of an autobiography.
