FICPA Scholarship Foundation Scholarships, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $5000 each.

Description

The FICPA Scholarship Foundation has been providing financial assistance to students aspiring to join the accounting profession since 1959. Our mission is to provide support and foster success for current and future CPAs. Applicants must be attending any college or university in the State of Florida that is a partner with the FICPA Scholarship Foundation. They must be a member of the FICPA. Applicants must have a 3.0 Cumulative GPA and a 3.0 GPA in Upper-Division Accounting; and must be a 4th or 5th-year student in upper-division accounting courses at the time the scholarship is received. They must be planning to sit for the CPA exam and be working towards fulfilling the requirements for certification in Florida. They should also indicate a desire to practice in the field of accounting as opposed to other disciplines and must indicate a desire to work in Florida.
