Description

The Florida Public Postsecondary Career Education Student Assistance Grant Program is a need-based grant program available to students enrolled in certificate programs of 450 or more clock hours at participating Florida College System institutions or career centers operated by district school boards. Each participating institution determines application procedures, deadlines, student eligibility, and award amount. Applicants must enroll for a minimum of 180 clock hours per term (or equivalent of 6 semester credits) at an eligible and participating Florida College System institution (public community college) or career center. They must not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made. Applicants must not have previously received a baccalaureate degree. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Florida State Department of Education for more information.
