Description

The Frederick Carl Hawkins Endowed Educational Scholarship awards between $10,000 and $20,000 over two years to a graduating senior from one of Kerr County's high schools: Center Point, Ingram, Our Lady of the Hills, Tivy, or Hill Country. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, submit two letters of reference from non-family members, and demonstrate strong character, integrity, responsibility, and leadership. Selection is based on academic and extracurricular achievement, community service, and financial need. Recipients must be accepted full-time into an accredited college, university, or trade school and maintain a 3.0 GPA to continue receiving funds. The award must be accepted by December 31 of the award year and is not renewable.
