Description

The Fulbright Scholar Award (funded by Curtin University) enables exceptional U.S. scholars to undertake research at Curtin University in the areas of resources and energy. This award is open to academics at the level of associate professor and full professor, providing awardees with the opportunity to contribute to the bilateral relationship between Australia and the United States as well as these research priorities of Curtin University. Academic applicants must have a PhD (or other terminal degree) and have 10 or more years of experience in their field (inclusive of PhD). Applicants with less than 10 years' experience who are appropriately qualified as a senior lecturer, associate professor, or full professor, will also be considered. In addition to conducting research, awardees are encouraged to collaborate with Curtin faculty and students through activities such as consulting on curriculum, participating in graduate/faculty seminars, or giving guest lectures or workshops. Applications should demonstrate plans for such activities. Curtin University seeks applicants in the areas of resources and energy. There are no language proficiency requirements, English is sufficient. All applicants must submit two recommendation letters. Letters should be from those who know the applicant and the applicant's work well.
