Description

The Gaede-Langmuir Award was established in 1977 by an endowing grant from Dr. Kenneth C.D. Hickman. The Gaede-Langmuir Award will be awarded to recognize and encourage outstanding discoveries and inventions in the sciences and technologies of interest to AVS. A nominee must have made a major contribution to the sciences and technologies of interest to AVS. The contribution may be in the nature of a new invention, process or discovery; this shall include significant advances in theory, the discovery of a new effect, phenomenon or process, or the invention of a novel device, instrument, technique or measurement. Three supporting letters, a CV or resume, and the Full list of Publications, Patents, and Invited Talks are required to be submitted.
