Description

The Women's Fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County established the Girls' Health in Girls' Hands Scholarship in order to support participants in GHGH programs in continuing on to higher education. Applicants should be a participant or former participant in the Girls Leadership Network (GIL); have applied for admission to, or be currently attending, an undergraduate or postgraduate college program; demonstrate financial need, good character, and potential to succeed in the student's chosen course of study. The scholarship will award $1,000 for community college students, and $2,000 for four-year college or university students.
