H. Normington Schofield Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $1000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

Established by the family and friends of Norm Schofield, the H. Normington Schofield Scholarships are available to graduating seniors of Beacon High School, John Jay High School, Roy C. Ketcham High School and Our Lady of Lourdes High School planning to major in environmental studies or education. Applicants must submit two current letters of recommendation from teachers or guidance counselors, clergy or persons other than family members who are familiar with the applicant's skills and abilities.
