Habib Kothawala Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers one award in the amount of $5000. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Habib Kothawala Scholarship will be awarded annually, in July, to one medical student. Applicants must be pursuing a Medical degree (MD/DO). They must be at least a first-year medical student (M1/MS1). Applicants must be enrolled in an osteopathic/allopathic medical school located in the U.S. They must be attending a U.S. accredited institution. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The applicant's Expected Family Contribution (EFC) or Student Aid Index (SAI), per the FAFSA Student Aid Report, must be less than or equal to 50,000. This is a one-year scholarship.
