Description

The Harriet Lewis Franklin Endowed Scholarship was created by Dr. Harriet Lewis Franklin '59 and inspired by her love for education and English. A former English professor, she created a scholarship to honor Chatham students who have a similar passion for English. This scholarship is automatically considered, and no separate application is required. In the admission application, no SAT or ACT test scores are necessary to receive a full admission review. All special programs will waive test score requirements this year; this includes honors, integrated degree programs (IDPs), and all premier scholarship programs. A well-written essay and one letter of recommendation are optional but strongly recommended to complete the application. Students may visit the scholarship's website or contact Financial Aid for more information.
