Description

Jack and Carol Kelly established the Jack and Carol Kelly Scholarship in 2012 to provide scholarships for local students who plan to return and support their community after they complete their education. It is important that the students plan to pursue a degree, certificate, training, or apprenticeship in a vocational, technical, trade or business career. Applicants must have graduated (or be on track to graduate) from a high school located in the four county area of Clark County WA, Clackamas OR, Washington OR, or Multnomah OR, or be children or grandchildren of employees of Instrument Sales & Services, Inc. Preference will be given to students who intend to continue their education at a vocational or technical school; or intend to continue their career training through a trade apprenticeship program; or intend to pursue a course of study leading to a career in business; and are working more than 10 hours per week. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington award's website for more information.
