Description

The James M. and Martha J. Perry Agricultural Scholarship was established in 1997 by Gladys J. Perry, to honor and recall the lives of her late parents, James and Martha. The Perrys were dedicated to the land and reaped all of the benefits that the soil had to offer. They loved their community and had a strong interest in education and young people. This scholarship was established to provide support for graduating seniors from Elgin Public High School who are seeking a degree in agriculture. To apply, students must be a current graduating senior of Elgin Public High School, Elgin, Nebraska planning to attend a qualified college or technical school.
