Description

The Jim and Dianna Murphy Scholarship will be awarded to graduates, including GED recipients and home-schooled graduates, of Oregon high schools. Students must major in diesel mechanic/technician, driver/operator of commercial vehicle/bus/truck, or related areas leading to a career in the commercial trucking industry or in diesel technologies. They must attend any Oregon two-year community colleges and for-profit schools only. Financial need may or may not be considered so filing of FAFSA is recommended. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of five academic years. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
