John Mabry Forestry Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers one award in the amount of $5000. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

In our continued efforts to support the next generation of leaders in the industry, RTA is delighted to announce we will again be offering the John Mabry Forestry Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year. The scholarship may be awarded to college Juniors and Seniors of four-year institutions (not graduating before the end of the school year) who will be enrolled in accredited Forestry or Wood Science programs. The scholarship may also be awarded to second-year students in a two-year institution (not graduating before the end of the school year) who will be enrolled in accredited Forestry or Wood Science programs. Applicants must also submit names and addresses of one or two references who will write letters of recommendation for them. One may be their University Department Head, major professor, or employer.
