Description

2020 showed us, more than ever before, that having well-trained and well-supported nurses is key to the health of our society. However, in a country with significant racial health inequities, the need for well-equipped nurses is especially heightened in communities of color. One way that Johnson & Johnson is working to eliminate health inequities for people of color is by investing in creating a diverse healthcare professional pipeline, including increasing BIPOC representation among nurses. As part of Johnson & Johnson's Our Race to Health Equity initiative, scholarships were funded through the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association. Undergraduate scholarships are available to students currently enrolled in a state-approved nursing program leading to an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN), Diploma in Nursing (hospital-based nursing program), Direct-Entry Master's Degree, LPN/LVN-RN Degree, RN-BSN/MSN Degree, or Accelerated BSN (12-18 Month Program). Funds are not available for graduate study unless it is for a first degree in nursing. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
