Description

The Kay Sims Dixon Scholarship was created by Bill Dixon, a 1976 Samford graduate and member of the Brock School of Business Dean's Advisory Board, to honor his wife, Kay Sims Dixon. Bill, now retired, was a senior vice president of marketing at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama. Blue Cross/Blue Shield has also been a wonderful friend of the school, generously sponsoring our Wall Street Journal newspaper program. Current students are eligible for a number of endowed scholarships once they have completed one full semester at Samford and attained a 3.0 overall GPA. Applications are sent to all undergraduate business students at the start of the spring term. Students may visit the scholarship's website or contact Samford One Stop for more information.
