Kim Coco League of Extraordinary Scholars, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Kim Coco League of Extraordinary Scholars was created in 2017 to support transgender students in good academic standing. The donor requires applicants to identify as Gender Variant/Non-Conforming, Non-binary, Third Gender, Transgender or Two-Spirit. Applicants must also be a Hawaii public high school graduate or GED equivalent. Preference will be given to students who attend a two- or four-year University of Hawaii system campus, students with higher financial need, and renewal applicants. The scholarship may be renewed for 4 years. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Hawai'i Community Foundation for more information.
