Luther Scholar Guarantee, with an application deadline in April, offers numerous awards of $20000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Luther Scholar Guarantee is open to selected Pre-Seminary students. Candidates must be admitted to CUAA as new freshmen with a major or minor in Theological Languages. They must have at least a 3.0 GPA, with preference given to students with a 3.25 GPA or higher. Candidates will demonstrate that they are members in good standing of an LCMS congregation, have been active in their churches and communities, and have the support of their pastors. They must also affirm that they intend to become LCMS pastors. Each candidate will submit the online application and have his pastor complete and submit the Pastoral Recommendation Form to the Pre-Seminary Director by mail, fax, or email.
