Description

The Martin J. Mitchell Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide one or more scholarships at a college or university for an employee or a child of an employee or former employee of Iron Age (previously Childs) Corporation. Applicants may be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current college undergraduate or graduate-level student. Applicants must be enrolled or plan to enroll in a two- or four-year college or university or graduate program. Financial need is considered but not required. This award is not renewable, but applicants may reapply each year they meet the eligibility criteria. Awards will be granted for undergraduate or graduate study only.
