Nephrology Nursing Certification Scholarship, with an application deadline in November, offers 3 awards of $425 each.

Description

Each year ANNA offers scholarships that provide funding to support members in their pursuit of higher education. The recipients of these scholarships are recognized at the National Symposium. The Nephrology Nursing Certification Scholarship aims to improve patient outcomes through specialized skills and encourage Registered Nurses (RN) and Advance Practice Nurses (APN) to excel through lifelong learning, professional growth, and achievement of professional distinction through knowledge and competencies. Candidates be a current full or associate member of ANNA, and have been a member for a minimum of the last two years as of the Awards and Scholarship application deadline date. Membership must be in good standing with no lapses. Candidates must be actively involved in nephrology healthcare related services; and influence kidney health by engaging in communities to address health equity and advocate for improved access to nephrology health care and education for all. Applicants must show successful completion of Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission Exam within the past 12 months. Applicants with other organizational reimbursement, such as employee reimbursement or other, are excluded from applying. Candidates must submit a letter of recommendation from a Chapter Officer documenting candidates' participation in Chapter activities.; documentation of successful completion of the certification exam; and documentation of personal payment for the certification exam.
