NJSNA Region 2 Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $1500 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The NJSNA Region 2 Memorial Scholarship is open to any registered nurse in Region 2 who has been a member for a year pursuing an RN to BSN or a higher degree in nursing and who meets the general eligibility requirements. Region 2 is Bergen and Hudson Counties). Applicants must be enrolled, not waiting to hear, in a nursing program located in the State of New Jersey, preferably located in the State of New Jersey. The dean or professor/faculty member of the applicant's program must submit a letter of support which should be included in the application. A member of the NJSNA may also apply if they are a Registered Nurse. They must provide their NJSNA membership number, and region number, include a copy of their membership card or verification, and submit their up-to-date CV or resume in their application. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, financial need, and leadership potential. Applications may be submitted through mail or fax, but email is preferred.
