NTSS Toshio Narahashi Neurotoxicology SS Trainee Conference Endowment Award, with an application deadline in January, offers numerous awards of $250 each.Description
The NTSS Toshio Narahashi Neurotoxicology SS Trainee Conference Endowment Award will be given to deserving trainees to cover registrations and other associated costs. The goal is to support the attendance of meritorious trainees in Neurotoxicology to the SOT Annual Meeting. Scientific merit and support from the trainee's mentor will be key criteria used in the decision process. The application form contains two components: Part A and Part B. Part A is completed by the Trainee and should contain: the abstract submitted to SOT; proof of abstract acceptance; the trainee's CV; the applicant's information and mentor's information; a brief summary of the student's research topic area and how their research will impact the field of neurotoxicology; past experience; and a statement of need/supporting information. Part B should include the letter of support. Please visit the award's website or contact the Society of Toxicology for more information.
