Eligibility

Sabinal Civic Club Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $1000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Sabinal Civic Club Scholarship was established for graduating Sabinal HS seniors that are active in community service and plan to attend either a trade school, junior college, college, or university. Applicants must be a graduating Sabinal high school student from Sabinal ISD, or a graduating homeschooled student in the Sabinal area receiving education through a state approved curriculum. Applicants must have participated in community service throughout high school and must plan on continuing to participate in community service during college. Applicants can reapply for one subsequent year with proof of financial need and submittal of their freshman transcript. Selection of recipients is based on financial need, academic achievement, and level of community service. An individual cannot be awarded the Ann Pierce Memorial Scholarship and the Sabinal Civic Club Scholarship in the same year. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country for more information.
