Description

The AFCEA Educational Foundation offers competitive scholarships to graduate students who are actively pursuing a degree or credential/licensure to teach science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) subjects in U.S. K-12 schools. Graduate-level applicants must be in at least their second semester of a graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university. They must be enrolled in a minimum of two semester-equivalent courses at the time of application and be majoring in education with the intent to teach STEM subjects in U.S. K-12 schools. Applicants must have an expected graduation date after the year the scholarship is awarded. They must also hold a bachelor's degree in a STEM major. Credential or Licensure applicants must have completed a B.S. degree or graduate degree in a STEM major. They must be currently enrolled in a credential or licensure program and have started the program at the time of application. All applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from faculty members in their major field of study. Recommenders must send their letters in PDF format via email to AFCEA. Applicants who are currently employed as a teacher must submit one additional letter of recommendation from their school principal.
