Description

The Brock Foundation Endowed Honors Scholarship is available to Junior or rising Senior students with good academic standing. Students must have a willingness and ability to provide tutoring services for local high school students through the ACCESS program (a minimum of 45 hours of tutoring over the fall 13 and spring 14 semesters is required). Students must submit a 1-2 page letter of application for the scholarship and a resume by April 15. The letter should identify their current GPA and major or intended major. The focus of the letter should be a description of their previous experience as an academic tutor, the skills and experience that they would bring to the tutorial situation, and the subjects and skills (academic subjects, success training, etc.) they are qualified to tutor.
