They must be a member of TMEA. Students may reapply for consideration in subsequent years. Applicants must submit five names of individuals, and their email addresses, of people who can address their potential for success as a music educator, music skills and abilities, work ethic, and other personal qualities. Applicants are expected to write their essays in their own authentic voice, reflecting their personal thoughts and insights.
