Thorvaldson Family Scholarship, with an application deadline in September, offers numerous awards of $1000 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Thorvaldson Family Scholarship is to be awarded to a student in university or proceeding into a university in Canada or the United States. Applicants should submit a general request, allowing the committee to consider each submission for any Foundation scholarship which is applicable. Priority may be given to first time applicants. Two references from persons other than family members are required for application, one of whom must be from someone with a teaching background. References may be submitted separately.
