Udall Undergraduate Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers 55 awards of $7000 each.

Description

The Udall Undergraduate Scholarship Program identifies future leaders in environmental, Tribal public policy, and health care fields. It is highly competitive, with students participating in their schools' internal competitions before receiving consideration from the Udall Foundation. The Tribal Policy category is for Native Americans and Alaska Natives working on an array of policy issues in Indian country. The Native Health Care category is for Native Americans and Alaska Natives pursuing health-related careers. The Environment category is for all undergraduates interested in conservation and environmental issues. The online application is currently available. Only your Udall faculty representative can give you access to the application. Three letters of recommendation that speak to the applicant's leadership, public service, and academic achievements are required. Additional documentation is required for applicants in Tribal public policy and health care, and eligible U.S. permanent residents. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact Jason Curley, Program Manager for more information.
