Description

The Ulku Ulgur, MD, International Scholar Award recognizes a child psychiatrist or physician in the international community who has made significant contributions to the enhancement of mental health services for children and adolescents. All even-numbered years' awards' recipients will be from Turkey. The award recipients in all odd-numbered years will be from any non-U.S. country. Applicants must be either a child and adolescent psychiatrist or a physician in the international community at the time of AACAP's Annual Meeting. Dual nationals are not excluded. Child and adolescent psychiatrist applicants are encouraged to be an AACAP member or have membership pending at time of application. Applicants must submit their contact information, including a current email address and phone number; and a recommendation letter stating why they deserve this award.
