Walter H. Escue Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in January, offers numerous awards of $500 each. Location restrictions exist.

Description

The Walter H. Escue Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to students concentrating studies in Technical Services, Systems Administration, or Library Automation. They must have attained at least a B average during the last two years of a baccalaureate degree program. They must also have been accepted as a graduate student at a Texas ALA-accredited, or Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) library education program. Letters of recommendation from your employer or professor are required. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Texas Library Association for more information.
