William G. Billy" Giacomo Fayette County Firefighters Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The William G. Billy" Giacomo Fayette County Firefighters Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to students in any college or university in West Virginia, unless the student is pursuing a Fire Safety Degree, then the application is open to any college or university nationwide. Applicants must be residents of Fayette County, with special preference for any who are active firefighter or have affiliation through spouse, child, or grandparent who is or was in service to (1) Fayette County Fire Association and if none, (2) a local fire department in West Virginia. Applicants must submit their most recent grades. They do not have to be the official transcripts.
