Description

The Joey Irwin Scholarship, funded by the Martinez Family, is a one-time award of up to $10,000 created in memory of Joey Irwin, a Frederick High School graduate and beloved master plumber from Carbon Valley. The scholarship supports Frederick High School seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.50 who plan to pursue a trade or vocational occupation. Funds may be used for tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses at a trade or vocational school during the upcoming academic year. The number of recipients and award amounts may vary annually. Applications must include a high school transcript with fall grades, responses to short answer questions, and a 2-3 minute video submission.
