Description

The Robert R. Heaton Scholarship Fund was created by Bob Heaton to provide scholarships for students who are current residents of Butler County or graduates of a Butler County high school, who currently attend or plan to attend vocational or technical trade school or a 2- or 4-year college or university. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, or current undergraduate from attending or who attended a Butler County (PA) high school including, but not limited to: Butler Area Senior High School, Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School, Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School, Butler Wesleyan Academy, Evangel Heights Christian Academy, First Baptist Christian School (Butler), Karns City High School, Karns City Junior/Senior High School, Knoch High School, Mars Area High School, Mars Area Middle School, Mars Area Senior High School, Moniteau Junior/Senior High School, North Catholic High School, Portersville Christian School, Seneca Valley High School, Slippery Rock Area High School, or Slippery Rock High School. Preference given to applicants who demonstrate financial need. This award is renewable three times or until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first.
