Graduate student scholarships: Find free money for grad school

The Robert M. and Margaret J. Lampert Foundation Scholarship is available to students pursuing their first teaching license. Students must have at least 1 semester remaining before graduation (including student teaching). Applicants must intend to teach in a PK-12 setting and come from Concordia's traditional undergraduate, accelerated undergraduate, or graduate education programs (Lutheran Teaching Diploma candidates excluded). Undergraduates must have 40 or more credits (freshmen are not eligible for the scholarship). Graduates must have been full-time students for at least one semester. The Julia Rosengren Endowed Fund is open to undergraduate or graduate students at the University of Central Florida with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students must be admitted into the Summer Study Abroad for Russian. Preference will be given to students who have declared a Minor in Russian. Preference will also be given to undergraduate students continuing to study Russian at the Intermediate level (3rd and 4th semester). Students must submit two letters of recommendation.

The Alma Alarcon Summer Study in Spain Scholarship is open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the College of Arts and Humanities. Students must be admitted to the Summer Study Abroad in Spain. Preference will be given to students who have declared a major in Spanish and then to students with a minor in Spanish. Preference is also given to students completing their junior year, followed by students completing their sophomore year. Students must submit two letters of recommendation. The John Rys Scholarship is available to graduate students in the Department of Chemistry. Applicants must be engaged in high-quality research in computational or theoretical physical chemistry or material science. Preference will be given to non-smokers. The Arthur B. Carton Scholarship Fund was established in 1992 and amended in 2011 by the Washington, D.C. area Alumni Chapter to honor Arthur B. Carton, Esq., a member of the first graduating class of the School of Law in 1928. This fund is to provide partial annual scholarship support to academically qualified Law School student(s). Recipient(s) will be selected from the pool of participants of the Alumni Insider's View-U.S. Capital Program, or its successor, based on the submission of an essay in conjunction with recommendations from the Washington D.C. The UWO COB CAPP Instructor Scholarship is open to students who are teaching UW Oshkosh CAPP courses or have applied to teach in the program and who are taking a UWO COB graduate course as part of an approved professional development plan to satisfy COB CAPP instructor eligibility requirements. The Angus Robinson Jr. Memorial Reinsurance Education Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 to provide multiple full or partial annual scholarships to academically qualified and/or deserving undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the SRM's Global Destination Courses.
