The William (Bill) Ezzell Scholarship provides financial assistance to CPAs pursuing their Ph.D.'s in accounting. Eligible applicants must be registered as an accounting faculty member or professional on ThisWayToCPA and have minimum three years of professional accounting experience, with a portion of that experience being within the last three years at the time of enrollment (internships can be included as long as the work was accounting or finance related). Pheabs' mission is to help raise financial awareness so that everyone makes responsible fiscal decisions. The Pheabs Financial Awareness Scholarship seeks to champion students who share the same values. The scholarship is open to future and current college students majoring in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Management, Technology and any others preparing for an exciting career in the finance industry. High school seniors may apply. Pheabs' Scholarship is open to any student in an accredited course that is located within the United States. Students from American accredited universities located elsewhere are also encouraged to enter. The Throlson American Bison Foundation is pleased to announce its 2025 scholarship program. This program has been established to encourage bison-related studies and develop leadership among future bison industry professionals. In January 2026, the Throlson American Bison Foundation will award scholarships totaling, but not limited to, $10,000 to outstanding college junior, senior or graduate students studying fields related to the bison industry. A minimum of $2,000 will be awarded in the memory of Richard Zahringer to a student pursuing a degree in agriculture economics, ag-business, or accounting. Ideally, this student will have a future interest in livestock, specifically bison. Applicants must be students in recognized livestock studies, animal science, veterinary, agriculture, accounting, ag-econ, or a human nutrition program, in the United States or Canada. They must have at least one semester or two quarters remaining in their degree program. The NC CPA Foundation Undergraduate Program Scholarship will be awarded to four-year college or university students who are enrolled in a program that will allow them to either achieve the accounting concentration required to sit for the CPA Exam; or to earn the undergraduate hours needed to enroll in a graduate program in order to achieve the concentration. All applicants must be NCACPA members to apply for a scholarship. Applicants must be either enrolled in a North Carolina college or university and attending on campus; or enrolled in an online program provided by a North Carolina college/university and residing in North Carolina. Prior award winners are eligible to apply. The foundation encourages applications from students who are future CPAs and who have strong interpersonal skills, are technologically adept, highly disciplined, and equally productive whether working alone or in collaboration. Additional factors such as financial need, background and experiences will be considered as well. Applicants must provide a reference of someone who knows them well, for example, a faculty member, a supervisor, and/or CPA. The applicant's reference should be able to speak to their academic performance, leadership potential, involvement in activities beyond the classroom, and commitment to becoming a CPA. The PwC - Martin R. Sullivan Memorial Accounting Scholarship was created in memory of the late Martin R. Sullivan, a partner at Coopers & Lybrand, who had an interest in accounting education at New Jersey's independent colleges and in the preparation of students entering the accounting profession. The scholarship assists high achieving students to prepare for careers in public accounting. Three awards will be given, one award is dedicated to Monmouth University. Applicants must be enrolled in any ICUNJ institution offering an Accounting degree. Applicants must demonstrate superior academic performance and promise for a career in public accounting; and show engagement in community and career path opportunities. The Minnesota Association of Public Accountants will award the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants Scholarships to undergraduate students entering their sophomore, junior, senior or fifth year. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university, majoring in accounting with the intention to practice in the field of public accounting. The amount of the award varies, but is generally $750, and is based on the number of qualified applicants. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation. The letter of recommendation may be submitted by the student with the application or submitted directly to MAPA from the individual selected to write the letter of recommendation.
