The MASOT Student Achievement Award was developed to recognize significant achievements of MASOT doctoral student members. Criteria that will be considered for this award include academic excellence, outstanding scientific achievement in the field of toxicology, and leadership and service to SOT, MASOT and the applicant's academic institution. Applicants must be a current MASOT member. They must also be enrolled in an accepted Toxicology or Pharmacology doctoral program. Applicants must have an intention of submitting a first author abstract for SOT. The award is based on a review of a full, current CV, which should include abstracts, presentations, publications, awards, and evidence of leadership at MASOT, SOT, or home institution. One letter of recommendation is required; two letters are strongly suggested. Recipients of the Student Achievement Award are ineligible to apply again in subsequent years. Dr. Conney Berger Jr., PhD, DABT passed away in 2017 after his battle with pancreatic cancer. Conney was very involved with both SOT and MASOT over the years. This award was established in memory of a great man and dedicated scientist. Applicants must be a doctoral student in an approved program in Toxicology or Pharmacology. They must be planning to submit an abstract for the 2025 SOT Annual Meeting SOT and be a MASOT member. Applicants must also be in attendance at the Fall 2024 MASOT meeting. Graduate students who present at the MASOT meeting will automatically be enrolled in a drawing for this award with the exclusion of the recipient of the Student Achievement Award. National Community Pharmacist Association Foundation Presidential Scholarship

NCPA Foundation Presidential Scholarships are awarded to students with demonstrated leadership qualities, academic achievement, and an interest in independent community pharmacy. The recipient will receive a $5,000 scholarship as well as a travel stipend and a complimentary registration to the NCPA Annual Convention. All pharmacy students who are national NCPA student members are eligible to apply for NCPA Foundation Scholarships. The student must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. school or college of pharmacy during the term that the scholarship is awarded. The student must be within 24 months of graduation. Applicants must submit their most recent official transcript and a letter from their school official or pharmacy owner/manager, preferably from an NCPA member. The letter should include an introduction that identifies the recommender and their relationship to the student and why the student should receive a scholarship. IMANA Pharmacy Scholarship

The IMANA Pharmacy Scholarship will be awarded annually, in June, to one pharmacy school student. Applicants must be pursuing a Pharmacy Degree (PharmD). They must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Applicants must be attending a US accredited institution. This one-year scholarship is intended to cover tuition and 'qualified educational expenses' at the recipient's chosen collegiate institution. The IMANA Scholarship is open to all applicants who meet the requirements, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, religion, or any other background factors. IMANA is looking for passionate young leaders with a demonstrated commitment to any variety of causes serving humanity.
